Joe’s Leg Script

Joe's Leg is a script typeface inspired by my partner, by countless days and nights I spent sketching him in my notebook—capturing my desire, my love. To anyone else, he might seem like an ordinary man, but to me, he is extraordinary: the curve of his leg, the line of his back, the quiet elegance in the way he moves. Through these sketches, I discovered a unique rhythm—a pattern of lines and brushstrokes that felt distinctly his. From this process, I crafted a typeface that captures his presence and essence. It’s more than just a font; it’s a visual love letter, a tribute to the intimate connection and details. This typeface is my love letter to him, both figuratively and literally—the letter itself became the type specimen booklet. While many of my projects aim to change the world through design, this one has a simpler, more personal purpose: to make the person I love smile.
